When I add in the rest of Dell’s sponsorship contribution, my grand total will be an outstanding £3200, for which I am so very grateful. The overall Dell Team total currently stands at £10540 (but we expect it to rise a little higher yet by the time everything is counted up). A great effort, I am sure you will agree.
I arrived at the Trocadero in Paris at 1.30pm local time. Had chance for a little bit of a rest while we waited for everyone to come in before cycling on to the Arc de Triomphe for a ceremony and wreath laying and then finally on to the Eiffel tower for a photo call and the finish of our adventure.
Just got to my hotel after another couple of miles through the mad city streets of Paris and carefully loaded my bike onto the truck to be transported to St. Pancras where I’ll collect it on my way home tomorrow…
More details later… off for a shower and a beer (or two) first!
